Leonard O’Byrne

Inland Pacific Colorado, LLC was founded in 1996 by Leonard and Tim O’Byrne to develop commercial projects, primarily focusing on hotels, theaters, and office buildings. Leonard O’Byrne was the Chairman of Inland Pacific Colorado and his spirit, drive and philosophy still guide the company today. Mr. O’Byrne played a key roll in the negotiations to build The Westin Westminster along with Starwood. For those who remember Mr. O’Byrne, they would describe him as a warm and caring individual with a love for people, hockey, and Neil Diamond! He started each day bright and early by bringing the hotel construction team hot Starbucks coffee to keep them motivated. Mr. O’Byrne also had a love for our famous rabbits. He would tell associates to “Protect the Jack Rabbits because I am going to come back as one.”

Leonard passed away in September 1999 after battling cancer. He missed seeing the hotel open by just 7 months.
